Emergency Maintenance Guidelines

The Emergency Maintenance Line is for EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE ONLY! Please see below for guidelines. Calling the emergency maintenance line for a non-emergency will result in a $10 charge to your ledger.



An emergency is classified as one of the following:

FIRE: Anytime there is a fire.

1. Call 911 first.

2. Call the emergency line.


NO HEAT: Only if the outside temperature is below 32 degrees.

1. Call the emergency line.


MAJOR WATER LEAK: Busted pipe or main water line.

***Minor water leaks, such as a leaking faucet or small leak under a sink is not an emergency. Place a bucket or container under the leak and submit a maintenance request.***

1. Call your water provider to have the water shut off.

2. Call the emergency line.


GAS LEAK: If you think there is a gas leak at your home.

1. Evacuate the home, leaving doors open on the way out.

2. Call your gas provider.

3. Call 911

4. Call the emergency line.

 

BREAK-IN:

1. Call local law enforcement.

2. If the property is damaged and needs to be secured, call the emergency line.


NATURAL DISASTER: If your home has been impacted by a natural disaster, such as a storm or fallen tree, and the property is damaged to where the elements are getting into the interior of the building.

***A downed tree in your yard is not an emergency. For a downed tree in your yard or one that has caused minor damage to the building, submit a maintenance request.***
