LESSON 11: Configuration Options

The Configuration Options display allows you to define how your version of The Concierge Assistant will work and how it will look.

The numbered Configuration Options include.

1.  Check these boxes if you wish ONLY authorized users to have the ability to update the specific types of information.

2.  Check this box if you wish to disable the Guest User Profile.

3.  The addition of the Concierge Message Center has diminished the usefulness of the Concierge Whiteboard. If you would like to replace the Whiteboard Icon with the Message Center Icon, please check this box.

4.  Check this box if you wish to allow ONLY authorized users to send messages to the Concierge Message Center.

5.  When you receive a message and wish to review it again later the system default interval is to resend the message in 10 minutes. If you wish to change this value please key in a number in the range of 1 to 59 minutes.

6.  This section allows you to create the Concierge Message Center and to edit the contents of the Message Center. See Lesson403 for instructions on how to edit the Concierge Message Center.

7.  Please update this with your local area code. This is used when entering telephone numbers in the Contacts Maintenance Panel. If you key in a partial number the default area code will be added to the telephone number.

8.  This is where you name your Master Computer.

9.  This displays your current Gold Key Solutions License expiration date.

10.  You may choose the display colors for your logbook entries in this section. The colors will give a quick visual indication of which entries require additional attention.

11.  Here you are able to edit the Credit Card types that appear in the combo box for Guest Profile editing.
